If you have some hours left on your recorder after Christmas and New year movies and shows, then good to set it for record, as on January 4, 2011, Syfy Channel will air the final five episodes of ‘Caprica’. The marathon will start at 6pm and run until 11pm. This series is called the second half of the first season, rather than being the season 2.  The story line were left hanging from season one, so it would be good to see some answers.

‘Caprica’, was a spin-off from the cult hit ‘Battlestar Galactica’ series, which was recently cancelled by Syfy. There is now plans for a new prequel series, ‘Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome’ which is planned for sometime in 2011 on Syfy.  Syfy has now clarified that Caprica will resume the second half of its first alongside the return of Stargate Universe. The exact premiere dates are to be announced.

Season 2 of Caprica has not been officially green-lit, but the production team has reportedly started sketching out possibilities, and despite unstellar ratings and a divided fanbase co-creator Ronald D. Moore has said in the past that he firmly believe there is going to be a Seasaon 2.  For more recent details see the Interview: David Eick Caprica Executive Producer Discusses  - Season 1.5 & Season Changes
