Healthcare Innovation Expo 2011 is the premier event for health and social care commissioners and providers. With over 150 seminars, 100 speakers and 250 exhibitors all featuring high impact innovations is showing some great examples in Virtual World. Imperial Collage London will show great use of Virtual Worlds in Healthcare on 9-10 March 2011.

An interactive showcase of healthcare applications in the 3D online virtual world of Second Life. The Imperial Collage Second Health is now one of the top 20 most Educational Locations in Second life.

Imperial College and partners showcase the application of the virtual world to diverse applications in healthcare. Discover how we may be able to empower adult patients with learning disability or enable NHS staff to experience situations where a patient’s safety could be at risk in the real world. We will also demonstrate a patient management simulation for training junior doctors and a polyclinic that has already seen 13,500 visitors.

Healthcare for London - is an NHS programme, run on behalf of London's primary care trusts, to improve the capital's health and health services.
STeLI -The London Deanery's Simulation & Technology-enhanced Learning Initiative is a strategy to develop a range of innovative, clinically-focused, technologically advanced learning resources.
Sussex Partnership – an NHS Foundation Trust that provides specialist mental health, learning disability and substance misuse services for the population of Sussex.
Grace Eyre is a charity supporting people with learning disabilities to make the most of opportunities in their communities.
University of Brighton – providing expertise in researching professional practice.
NHS Training for Innovation - improving patient care and safety by ensuring best practice in healthcare technology training.
The NHS Confederation is an independent membership body whose membership covers 99% of NHS organisations as well as a growing number of independent healthcare providers.
